In terms of information security, we apply the following key elements: up-to-date firewalls, DDoS protection, data loss and leakage protection, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS systems). The key distinctive feature of Tier III category of the US Uptime Institute is concurrently maintainable engineering subsystems, redundant cooling system, back-up power supply system, back-up telecommunications infrastructure. With this configuration, it is possible to manage maintenance periods without affecting the continuity of service on the servers. In terms of redundancy, Tier III offers N+1 availability allowing for any planned maintenance activity of power and cooling systems to take place without disrupting the operation of computer hardware located in the Availability Zone. Tier III facility has availability of 99.982% with only 1.6 hours of downtime per year.
